If you require any vaccinations relating to foreign travel you need to make an appointment with the practice nurse
Prior to an appointment you must also access the website:
On this website you need to access each country you are intending to visit and understand what recommendations are being made. During your appointment with the nurse, you will revisit this information and you are able to ask questions and confirm which vaccinations you require.
Without researching this information via this website before your appointment, it is likely you will run out of time which of course we want to avoid for you.
If after reading the information on the website you have decided you do not require any vaccinations, then no further action is necessary.
If you have decided you do want the vaccinations recommended, please complete the Travel Health Assessment Form( Travel-Assessment-Form-2022 one for each person travelling) and once completed bring to the Practice and book your appointment. We are unable to book an appointment without a form being received at the same time.
To enable the best possible time frame to offer advice and receive your full vaccination course, we would recommend you allow 6 weeks between your appointment to your departure date.
We only offer the NHS free vaccinations listed in Here. Any requirement for more specialist vaccinations, will need to go to a specialist private clinic.
