East Sussex MSK Community Partnership (ESMSK) offers a self-referral service for physiotherapy. This service allows patients to access physiotherapy without needing to see their GP first.
The advantage to you – we get your referral quickly, in your own words, which helps us to make the best plan for your first appointment.
We request you do not self-refer within the first 6 weeks of developing a new problem.
This is because about 85% out of people who develop ‘new’ problems e.g. shoulder pain get better within 6 weeks.
