Repeat medications can be requested and collected five working days after the request is made. Any Requests that come in after 12.00pm are not processed until the following working day.

Both of our practices have on-site dispensaries providing prescribed medication in a convenient and professional manner.

Government legislation says that we are able to dispense medication only to those patients living over one mile (In a direct line) from a pharmacy.

Patients living within a mile of a pharmacy will be given their signed prescription to take to a pharmacy of their choice.

For patients living locally we can dispense medication on-site. Prescriptions issued on the day of a consultation will normally be ready to take home within a few minutes of you being seen by the doctor.

If you do not have to pay prescription charges please have evidence available each time you collect the prescription. If someone collects the prescription for you they will need to bring with them the exemption card.

If you are regularly taking two or more medications, you may find it more cost effective to purchase what is called a pre-payment card. Please ask one of the dispensers for more information.
